I got my carpet from Lowes. It was the Stratos grey marine carpet, I believe it was around $28 for 5'x12'.

Yeah I can see where my thinking went awry now. It made sense until I drew it out, then I felt a little dumb. Oh well, certainly isn't the first time, definitely won't be the last!!!

Right, that's why I was thinking lower mount and longer pedestal. I just wanted to see if anybody has tried it or has any input on the subject.
