I have a 19 ft StarCraft Islander that leaks a little, and I went with a 2000 GPH model with 1 1/8 hose. It clears the bilge out in a hurry and gives me piece of mind. Bigger is Better IMO.

maybe buss bar is not the right term. I have a bar on my boat a wire goes in the bottom screw from the battery. and has a screw right above it for a wire from the device. I am putting positive and negative from the battery n 2 different screws right next to each other but they do not connect...

Had her out on the bay for the first time. She worked great going to spend the next few weeks and dollars getting new rod holders and trolling bags, fishfinder and Ship to shore radio on it.

This is my new ride for Saginaw Bay. its a 1986 Islander. has a few issues but the price was right. The boat runs like a top and cant wait to outfit her with electronics and get her on the water.

I have a 14 footer with a 15hp motor I weigh 300 pounds. I have a battery in back and up front, but I have a whale tail on the motor and I come right up on plane and the bow goes right down immediately. Boat goes 17 mph on the gps.

I launch at the edge of a river, no ramp and a 2ft drop to the water.Back up to the river tilt the trailer and let it go. pull it back up with the winch and away you go.

Thanks guys, I was looking for functional. I am trying to keep all of my little mods light, hence the molded seats with seat cushions to double as life preservers so I don't have to carry extra life jackets that take up room. With a boat this little, room is precious. I can't wait until spring...
