Needing a eom prop for my 65 evinrude 6 hp

Here are pictures to as where the motor sits. I have it trimmed all the way down to try and help get the nose down. Since I obviously have not tore anything up I believe the answer is just to go a little slower. But I was all excited about breaking the 10mph barrier. Lol

Basically I was running pretty close to full throttle and the motor kinda kicked up and started revving and the boat started slowing down, I backed off the throttle and it was running fine, I throttle up a little and it started doing it again. Was out yesterday and the motor just took off revving and boat slowed down. Did that a couple times but as long as rpms were low i limped it back in. I was thinking gears, bushings or spun prop. When i removed prop there was a wad of line wrapped around shaft. Hoping thats what it was causing it.

Never mind. Lol. Pulling my hair out with this **** thing. Gonna buy me a new motor when this one quits. But it won't quit, just keeps going.

Please someone tell me that the bolts that hold the propeller housing own are not right-handed threads before I tear something up. Done everything in the world to get him to break loose and they want I guess I hammers next

So I think I am gonna get the manufacturers version. Should I go right thru the throat of the carb or mix in the fuel is what I am not sure which way to go. . If I mix in the fuel I need to troll around the lake until I go thru the gallon of fuel I guess. With a 6 hp that will take a while. If...

For some reason I don't trust sea foam. Guess it's the foam part that worries me lol. Is there a certain type for a two stroke or what? Is it just a generic can you get and use for everything?

I am gonna rebuild my carb this winter and basically do a overhaul. What would be the best practice to keep a carb clean year round? I'm thinking a fuel stabilizer, draining the fuel bowl if I'm not gonna be using the boat for more than a few days and I have read somewhere about another...

There is about a 2" hole in each compartment that I was gonna run the line through. That boat is so heavy and then I add me, the fuel tank and battery to the back it struggle for any speed. But then again I am not skiing. Lol

Yeah I was hoping it would be fine, just replaced the lines and bulb. Just have too much crap back there with me, need some room. Thanks

It's a big ole mighty 6 hp with a 3/8 line. I help it along by paddling, only when I'm going uphill though. Lol
