I agree that the pixels are the same, but the X-135 has 4,000 Watts peak to peak power compared to 1,500 Watts on the Fishmark 480. I am sure that both units will do the job just fine. I had a Eagle Cuda 168 on my boat before the X135 and I can tell you that their is a huge difference between...

I prefer the Lowrance. I have a x-135 and it works great.

I had this same problem when I wired my trailer because I had pulled the trailer to the truck but did not attach to the ball just hooked up the connectors. I spent an hour checking everything before I realized that the trailer needed to be hooked to the truck for the ground.

Is their a web site that has spec's for a boats max HP?

I have a 2000 Chevy Ext cab w/5.3L and get 16mpg mixed regular driving and towing my boat.

Do you guys think a 25 would be to much for this boat?

I have a 9.9 on it now, but would like to get a 25 for larger lakes.

Does any one know how to find out what max HP motor my boat is rated for? I have a 1980 Fishermarine 15' with 38" bottom. The plate that has all the info on it is faded and I can't read it.

Hello, My name is Brian and I am from the upstate of SC. I have a 15' FisherMarine with a 9.9 Johnson. I mainly fish small lakes close to home. I have enjoyed looking at all of the boat Mods, they have given me some ideas for future projects.

I would go with the 36" wide bottom instead of the 32" for better stability.
