    Gas tank up front.

I always take the easy way. Just buy the additonal fuel line and connect it with a clear aftermarket automotive filter. The end you cut off goes to the end of new line. The new (after filter) is always on the engine side just incase there is something in the original line (like chunks from...

    Piano Hinge Question

I "Bop" the end links to pinch it with a rolled screwdrive. Easier being sure.

    Singin' the electrolysis blues . . . .

While I may be a bit foggy on the dates, I remember when Lund came out with their "Marine Aluminum" hull. It was around 1986-ish. Had older boats that acted as you mentioned and used mostly in fresh. Salt and leaving a "tin" boat in or even by the water was considered a no-no around here. I...

Why I am switching from rollers to bunks.

Wouldn't go that far. :LOL2: Bigger, heavier boats at shallow ramps and winching by hand is a good spot for rollers (IMHO).

    Auxiliary lights on trailer

Did something like that,,, but different. Have a elec. winch on trailer that uses a seperate plug. Bought a (flood) utility light from a Farm Store and mounted it to a stubby 2X3 It slides into the pocket in the back of the pickup bed and plug in off the winch plug connector. When not in use it...

Why I am switching from rollers to bunks.

Never thought too highly of setups like that myself. Generally, I save roller trailers for bigger & heaviers like a 20 ft. glass with a big OB. Even then, not with a roller setup like that. I like the ones that adjust to the hull automaticly with loose pivots. Tin boats (unless really huge)...

    Braided Lines?

Mostly Saltwater - I've all but given up on super braids as for the cost vs. agrivation, I see no need. Power Pro- Chunk baiting on conventional tackle from beach, weeds stuck to line like super glue. Didn't cast well off conventional reels. Yes, I had the infamouse weak spots too. Fireline -...

    TM Help Needed

Does the prop turn by hand? If so, my first guess wouldbe the switch. Probably from sitting the contacts got dirty, Split the cover and bypass the switch to the 2 wires going down the tube. If it runs that way, get some contact cleaner (Radio Shack / Automotive?) and blast that switch a few...

    Traveler by Sea Nemph, rebuild

Being new here, but not to boats..... I'd think moving forward would be a good move myself. Most boats always seem a bit light in the bow anyways. With that 80 hp. on the rear, you'd probably be right back to the original trim anyways. However, it would depend a lot on what you're planning for a...

    wiring

Probably over kill,, but I do it anyways. I've gotten so frustrated with grounds I run a additional ground wire with the hot wire install. Really not a hard thing and I know my grounds are good. I'll solder, liquid tape, shrink tube, and liquid tape again all connections. All grounds go to the...

    Sooo... I bought a boat!

Oh, and from the picture,,, I'd of sworn it was a 16 ft. with the seat layout and all the room it looks to have between them.
