Max the hp. The 20 might be sufficient lightly loaded. But full load you will really appreciate the extra few ponies.

I have read that 4 stroke shot out a hundred times. I was a regular on microskiff until the change a while back.biggest downfall in my opinion is the break in and doggish behavior. Really leanin to the E Tech. Thought about the Sea Pro but would like newer technology.

Check out smalloutboards.com they have a partner in Canada who has new in box 2 stroke merc 25 and 30 shipped to your door. But they are old school technology so you dont get the great fuel consumption of an E Tech or the 4 strokes. I am trying to decide on a motor as well right now and am torn...
