I lived on Pearcy Priest lake when I was a kid. I still have friends in the Nashville area. I thought about going over there. I like the work you have done on your boat so far.

Sometimes its better to get a high quality used reel for the same money as a cheap new one. This concept has never let me down.

I liked the shimano pistol grip rods. I still have all 5 I bought years ago. Had no problem landing bass over 10 lbs. In Georgia. Still have shimano bantam reels on them. They will never be for sale. I might sell humminbird 1199 though. I'd rather have a string and a plum bob to find my depth...
Look at a penn 210. They have a 4 to 1 gear ratio and are built like tanks. 25 to 35.00 on ebay. I've heard good things about blackmore rods.

I hit the wrong key on my tablet. Penn 210 reel 25 to 35.00 on ebay paired with quantum big cat rods. I am mostly fishing for blues and flathead though. Quantum big cat rods are hard to find now. I think I paid 50 or 60 apiece for them. If you like garcias try a 6500. Have a look at tangling...
I just moved to east Tennessee. Have you ever been fishing in Dale Hollow? I thought I might give it a try. I like your boat. I wish I would have configured my own instead of buying a new one. Wound up with a 1756 dlx Lowe with 50 hp. Evinrude tiller steer.
