I have read the threads on here but am confused. No Zinc plated bolts on transoms? What kind of bolts will not react with aluminum transom? SS 316 and a dab of 3M 5200?

Same boat (well, 12' Aluma, lol) - I have rebuilt transom wood and coated with Thompsons. Hoping Thompsons won't corrode. Am also wondering what kind of bolts - I have some Zinc plated steel but see those may corrode. SS 316 with 3M 5200 sealant? Would love any insight.

Any update here or insight on Thompsons? Want to make sure it isn't going to damage my bench seats when I rivet some Thompsons sprayed wood to them.

Does anyone know if decals will stick to Steelflex 9xn? I would like to throw a new Alumacraft decal on my 12' 1981 Alumacraft that I am coating with Steelflex and pigment soon.

Any thoughts on this motor? Value for one in excellent shape? Reliability, seasonal maintenance, parts availability, etc?

Looking for a used small outboard. Just need a workhorse that can get from spot to spot. If anyone in MN has a <15hp motor for sale I would be happy to take a look. Fairly sparse on Craigslist/my local dealers. Cheers
