I have a 25hp mariner and bought a four bladed prop from BPS. works great. better on the low end but lost a little top speed. it's a comprop. I think it was around $90.00 I'm happy with it
I have a 25hp...mariner. I switched to a four bladed prop and definately got on plane quicker and it also had better low speed performance and responce......the flip side is I lost a little bit on my top speed but I think it was worth it
I have a subscription to In-Fisherman so I have sometihing to read during lunch. one thing about it is that it comes out 10 time's a year instead of 12. It's a pretty good magazine, I'd like to subscribe to a couple more magazines so I was glad to see your post.
I think I have the same mariner as you or atleast close. did you change the impellor and was it really that easy? I think I'm gonna order the stuff to do mine

Thanks for the info. I bought them 35 years ago and somehow managed to hang on to them all these years. I'm sure there not worth anything but it's cool just to have stuff you bought as a kid
I got the ugly stik long sleeved tee shirt after purchasing the rod. I suppose the rods a good rod for the money. ($30)
truth is I used it once and went out and bought a St. croix mojo bass. probably give the ugly stik to my son or son-in law if they wanted it. I really like the tee shirt
I have a Revo sx and love it.....would have loved to buy the MGX but at $349.00 for the list price it was definately out of my price range. I'm sure that in the next year the price will be coming down. especially if you look on ebay. great deals there
