Thanks tyhat's what I'll do Have a Nissan 18 restoring it to original - had to get the Decals from England - The transom cap is gonna need welded broke in middle so maybe take the brases & cap both off the get everything welded back - who welds generally aluminum

Don't know what forum to use but it's a project in a rebuild so here seem right Transom rebuild - Previous owner had foam behind a board bolted to the cross members. I want to remove or repair rotted wood and fill in or whatever. Read somewhere about drilling and injecting CEPS to repair...

I gotta fix this and I am not sure how. Read alot but still not sure. Attached a couple views inside and back. Wood obviously rotten and seems wet, previous owner filled with foam behind boards scary to me. Any direction would help - I am into easy and cheap but will do what's needed.
