I have seen goop coat it , gator glide and steel flex. Has anyone used these products if so can you give my your thoughts on them? I dont have any leaks I will be using the product as a preventive.

Going to pick this up tomorrow it's a monark 1648 . Looking to install a lockable tool box across the back to replace the half bench it will take some modification. I had a polarkraft 1444 just wanted something a little bigger.

I used a primer made by rustoleum for aluminum. I let it dry for a day and then I went to tractor supply and bought tractor paint( and then do have red). I painted my boat 2 yrs ago and it still looks good Hope this helps. smokepole

With a little work it turned out nice and I have found these types of boats just sitting everywhere now I'm looking for a 16 ft.
