new to boating just got a old 6hp johnson and a new gas can the fits perfect but i dont know to give it gaswhen i start it ? where do i put the gears i tired to start it it worked for about 30 secends then i turned it off it wont start agian is can some one explain proper way to set and start...

JUST FINISHED SEALING THE BOAT WITH LAB METAL . I WILL TEST IT AND FILL IT UP WITH WATER TOMARROW HERES A PIC.

IT WAS HARD TO WORK WITH AT FIRST BUT I JUST ADDED A BIT MORE SOLVENT AND WENT ON SMOOTH TOMORROW IS THE BIG TEST I AM GOING TO FILL THE BOAT WITH WATER AND SEE IF ITS SEALED

just got my alvin lab metal real hard to work with i will post spme pic later have not filled my boat with water yet so i dont know how good it works ill keep you updated
