    Bow Stop Help

The bow stop on my boat isn't long enough to keep the boat far enough back to safely trailer. The original owner had a bracket system that rotted away, and once I took that off the boat sits to far forward. My question is what is this part called and where can I find it? I may be able to...

What battery do I purchase? LED Strip Light/Spot Light

I need some help on deciding which size battery I need to purchase. I have a 1998 Mercury 6hp outboard. Not sure if it is capable of charging a battery while running or not; still digging into that topic. I have no problem taking the battery out after a morning of hunting to charge it though...

1998 Mercury 6hp - Primer Link Location Help

Alright. Just got back from vacation and got the link put in. It fits but doesn't seem to do much of anything. It moves that timing piece maybe a 16th of an inch. Think that enough to do anything? I gotta do a cpl more fixed before I take it out again. I guess that be the answer!

1998 Mercury 6hp - Primer Link Location Help

Ok, can anyone tell me where part # 27 connects to? I see where on one side it connects to the primer adjustment knob, but on the end towards the carb, where does it connect in your eyes? I looked at the motor yesterday and nothing stuck out to me as to where the carb end would connect...

Got a duck hunting boat, now need veteran advice.

I'm looking at a 22" LED light bar for the front of the boat. 2400 lumen. Not sure on amperage draw. What size battery would I need? I looked up one that would work in my truck thinking of it'll crank my truck, it'll run a light thought process and they want $125 for one. Any other ideas...

Got a duck hunting boat, now need veteran advice.

Bad news. After tweaking a few things tonight I grabbed each tire WITHOUT the trailer jacked up and shook side to side and top to bottom. There is play, not a crazy amount but noticeable. Now, I know how to do the work but how do I know exactly what size bearings and/or hubs to buy for...

Got a duck hunting boat, now need veteran advice.

Thanks for all the info! The trailer tracked fine. No sway or wobble or vibrations. I'm jacking it up this weekend and see if there is any play. Ok. Got the prop off after the little guys went to bed. Pics below are what I found. I think it would be hard to tell anything about the seal...

Got a duck hunting boat, now need veteran advice.

I picked this up earlier this week. 1960 14' Alumacraft w/ 6.0 HP Mercury. I am not new to boats, but I am new to aluminum boats. I got this boat strictly for duck hunting and taking the kids out for small fishing excursions on resident lakes/ponds. I will add more pictures as I start the...
