Thanks for the input. I have the bows and t's in place, just couldn't remember what to do to give the structure stability. I may have to lower mine a bit, I think my bows are too tall. I cut the pieces 84". The Gunnels are 70" apart. I'm still not sure about the cable through the bows...

I have seen some posts about using PVC pipe for boat cover supports. Can someone direct me to that topic?

Good find. I had a 1953 3 hp Evinrude that would idle so low you would be tempted to restart it. One thing I think I remember is those older motors used a different mixture of oil to gas, maybe 24:1. Not sure, maybe some other old geezers can advise you.
