It's a 10 pitch I think...it's the same one that used to be on it when it ran....and I tried moving everything around and still nothing

Well guys I tried it and nothing changed. My friend says he thinks it's sliping out of gear but I held it in place and nothing changed...please help me guys

So I bought a 1969 evinrude sportster 25hp a while back and when I went to test it I had all the symptoms of a spun prop. So what I did is went and bought a brand new prop off I boats. When I went to run it with the new prop it did the same thing! I've look all over the internet trying to figure...

so here it is and btw the motor does turn over when I hand spin the prop with motor In gear

I think rat may be right. I'll go out and get some pictures for you guys so I can be 100% sure and I'll also go out and do the test

Ok so I checked and it does have a shear pin but it's not broken...is this good news or bad when it comes to how tough it's gonna be to repair

So do you think I can still buy a hub for that motor with it being so old?

How do I do the test for that...I don't understand when people explain the marks and stuff...if you could could you use pictures

So I took my 69 evinrude out for the first time since I bought it and when I went to open up the throttle to get on plane it just revs super high and it's like the prop isn't even spinning. It will move at a slow idle fine and when I test it out of water the prop spins fine. Could anybody help...
