If you want to put a blind on it go with a scissor rig. That wouldn't add much weight but I would be cautious when building decks. My buddy had a 1436 and built a deck out of wood and it added to much weight and was a little sketchy out in the pamlico. You can get away with adding more weight if...

Finally got the seats mounted RIGHT! :mrgreen: Before the would fall off if I leaned back to far because the mounting hardware they gave me was straight crap. Had to replace all the screws for bigger ones...
Yeah big thing to remember about camoing a duck boat is you want to avoid distinct lines. Boat looks great so far. Cant wait to see how this one turns out. :mrgreen:
Was able to work on the boat a little yesterday. I ordered a windshield from https://www.akmccallumco.com/store-console.htm and it came in Tuesday afternoon. Really pleased with how it turned out and it was easy to install (took all of 10 minutes). I need to make a grab rail to go around it but...
I like the camo job and how the cooler matches. What do you think of the flotation pods? Do you notice a change in performance? Thinking about putting some on my boat but I've never been on a boat with them so I have no idea what to expect but I think they could be a good thing to have.
