Thanks for the feedback. I will try and find a used bow mount w/foot control or a TM w/foot control and make a custom mount. It looks like the variable speeds are hard to find. Would the same shaft lenght as for the rear work ?

Thanks for all the suggestions...I am leaning towards seafoam and stabil marine. Stopped by my local small Marine shop and they recommended I just empty the gas tank every couple of months and maybe use stabil every couple of months. Not going to take their advice but thought it was interesting

Just bought my first boat. Has a 2004 Yamaha F25 4 stroke with about 50 hours on it. Yamaha recommends using Yamaha Fuel Stabilizer and Conditioner Plus and Ring Free Plus. Can anybody suggest an aftermarket fuel additive that possibly combines the (2) ? Thanks.

In my search for a decent Aluminum Jon boat I started my search on the longer Jons 16-18' but have been seriously considering a 14' wide. Most are 0.70" thick or so and riveted but I came across a 1448 MV SeaArk (1999) which are rated for 30HP max, all welded and 0.100" thick...
