Boat Names

I had a 10' Jon that had no mods and a vintage Ted Williams Sears gamefisher trolling motor on it. No trailer and would flip over very easy..,. Name of boat "money talks". No pic, but the name was on the back of transom. Now my 14.5 semi v is named " insufishent funds". Sent from my SM-G920V using T...

I'm lost, bow mount trolling motor install

I made a bow cap and had this trolling motor mount fabricated by a friend. I secured non pt 2x4's horizontally to the gunnel and added two 2x4 stringers and then just laid a piece of resin coated plywood on top for my deck. Kept it simple and works great 20160210_221206.jpg . 20160221_092128.jpg 201...

1969 9.5 Johnson refurb questions

Thank you all for the info. Nymarine has the cowl gasket, I have an inquiry into him. I found the paint from evinrude Johnson at a lower price than I could find anywhere else. Currently priming and wet sanding now. Decals are being cut by a local guy and I'm gonna see how they turn out. Thanks for a...

Johnson insignia part search

Any clue where I could find one of these? I am refurbishing a 1969 Johnson 9.5 and this piece is broke
Also, has anyone ever ordered items from nymarine? They sell the cowl gasket I need and just curious if they are legit.
Thanks guys.

East Orlando welders

I had this fabricated. It is removable but not easily. BT's did not do it, just showing you an example of a mount for your own ideas.

East Orlando welders

BT's welding. However, its in Titusville, not bithlo.
I have not used them in awhile but I am pretty sure they are still out there.

Storing your fly rod

Good ideas. I gotta have it on board now, I am dying to catch a redfish on the new set up. Hopefully my luck will be with me Saturday. Thanks for the responses. And Barefoot Johnny, your from winter garden. Funny, I went to West Orange High and Ocoee Middle. So did my dad and uncle. Small world.

Storing your fly rod

Question, You guys have any pics of how you store your extra fly rods while fishing. Not stored in a rod holder, more like how to store them when they are in standby mode? Maybe I am just a freak about not wanting to scratch up the rod and reel but for the money we spend on fly set ups, its a little...

"Money Talks" update

That was funny. Its a Red Drum, also known as a redfish. I have the luxury of living an hour away from the Redfish capital of the world (Mosquito Lagoon). That particular catch was close to that area but not in the lagoon. Their slot is 18"-27", so needless to say, he was released. Amazing fish and ...

Idea for your transom TM on the deck

I thought some of you would be able to pull some ideas from this fabrication. Bored out holes for the mount screws to go into so the motor will not be able to shift. Enjoy.
