What food do you feed your dog?
14 years as a K9 officer in south Florida I can tell you that Iams Eukanuba was the best. No waste, small bowel movements and no skin issues. I now have a 13 month old GSD which I imported from Germany prior to retirement and she gets Eukanuba once a day (2 cups) with no issues. She is getting the m...

Hydro turf or carpet
thanks, the bottom of my boat is still aluminum except for the battery tray which is 2' by 40" at the very front of the boat. I plan on using the hydro turf on the benches and the middle floor.

Hydro turf or carpet
I enjoy this forum and am impressed with all the modifications. Is there anyone out there who has had hydro turf on their boat for several seasons? I am wondering how it holds up compared to carpet and once it is installed what is the up keep. I have some on a personal watercraft installed by the fa...

Duracraft finished
Very impressive boat you got there. Was the Hydro turf hard to work with? It looks like it is a little thicker than carpet.

Fuel mixture for Evinrude
Took my tinboat out today and noticed alot of fuel/oil smoke coming out of my 6 hp Evinrude. It is an older motor and has recenly all been re-done. My question is with a 50 to 1 fuel mixture is that too much? Could it be reduced to say 45 or 40 to 1 and not affect the motor. I use a Yamalube 2 strok...

cowl seal replacement question
Does anyone have ideas or experiences with replacing the rubber cowl seals on an older outboard? I have 2 small outboards and want to repaint the cowls. I have to replace the rubber seals around the bottom of the cowls for both motors the seals are no longer available from the manufacturer. I have a...

what is the right hp motor for me!?
I have a 12' Jon that I use in saltwater it has a 6hp on it and I get around fine. You have to be careful out in the gulf though. I stick to the mangroves and canals. Good luck

Motor bogs down
How about some Seafoam additive in the fuel mixture. Would that help him clean up the carb as well?

Thanks again bassboy, you saved me a part of my Sunday afternoon. Just a shame that that will end up in a body of water. Mine is not leaking nearly as bad as the one in your photo.

Lean or Rich setting?
thanks
First OB
With the color of the oil that is coming out it looks like it has been mixed with water. Is that common? Also if the seal was bad there would not be the light color oil right. I have a small evinrude that seeps out where the lower unit comes together and it is the dark color, I thought that my probl...

Lean or Rich setting?
Where should the lean rich setting be? I have a small outboard and am not sure where I should set the lean/rich. The motor runs fine and there is not a noticeable difference no matter what the setting. I think the difference would be in fuel mileage. thanks
