We're Back!

KC born and bred, I was 3 years old for our last Super Bowl game. Stayed a fan my whole life, even when we were 0 and no hope. Bigger than the Super Bowl to me is the fact we brought the Lamar Hunt trophy home finally. too bad he isn't here to see it. Whether we win or lose, it is still good we got ...

Re: Ingenious ways to escape the Berlin Wall

No one ever went to such attempts to escape to those countries. Makes one think.

Ruger Old Army

So does a few other States, fortunately most of the firearms were antiques so less fuss. The modern firearms were handled by my cousin who is an FFL in the State where my Father lives, and a FFL in my home State did me a favor by not charging me for the transfers. Has he charged the going rate, I wo...

Ruger Old Army

My Father has been passing my inheritance to me every so often, he wants to make I get the firearms and not some other family members who are less responsible. So last week he gives me this Ruger Old Army. Said he has only shot it a few times, and it looks pretty good still. I have not had the chanc...

Essential Items For First Aid Kits

[ Nice kit. I've thought before about trying to get a Corpsman/Medic bag, but they always seemed quite bulky and more than I know how to use. I know general military first aid, and how to give an i.v., and that's about it. Would like to get a basic emt course one day, just need to figure how to get...

Essential Items For First Aid Kits

I didn't have tampons in my 1st kit, will add when I get home. Good idea, and practical. I have 3 of these kits, https://www.survival-supply.com/style-trauma-p-5574.html . I keep one in the car. One in the house and rotate one between the boat and my hunting bag. When I weighed one, it was about 15 ...

Fish Whacker picture request

I use a machete. There are two types of fish where I am, fish you want and fish that jump in your boat. When I get the boat jumpers ( Asian Carp ) they meet the sharp side of the machete. They are invasive and should not be released alive. I keep the heads and tails for trotlines. Catfish love them...

For me it is just getting harder to crawl under there and do the work. Having it already installed was a major plus.
Getting down under the car is easy Getting back up is the hard part.
So true, I often wonder what happened to the years, there didn't used to be so many behind me.

Installed a trailer hitch

I had the same Illinois issues when I added my hitch to my 2008 Saturn Outlook. It was a pain, I used cutting oil to retap all the holes. Fortunately when I traded that vehicle in for a 17 Dodge Durango, the hitch and lighting was already installed by the factory. I really wasn't looking forward to...

Quiet at home

When you start upsetting them be prepared for their hostilities. They have threatened my life, my family members lives, threatened to have me arrested, threatened to burn down my house, called my mother names and more. They have been so upset with me they have been screaming at me through the phone...
