I have a Food Saver V3460. Sometimes it doesn't seal all the way in spots when sealing fish. Have to seal multiple times. It woks well for dry foods though.
I would go with the higher end model if doing it again.

At the ripe ol ages of 5 and 7 these guys get it done. They pulled in a ton of Smallmouth and a couple keeper Walleye. Dragging crankbaits, jigs, and crawler harnesses. Running 6 rods most of the time.

The bottom one was just over a 12" ruler. The weather has been all over the place here too. Been tough chasing the warmer water around the lakes. Been mostly in the channels.
