Need to buy a camera ... HELP

LDUBS, thanks for the reply. Now that I think about it (thanks to your reply) I guess what I really needed was a "brand name" to look for. Thanks for the help, time to go shopping.

Thanks

Need to buy a camera ... HELP

Oct 23rd I will be heading to Montana for a few weeks. I'll be doing some site seeing and hunting. At this time the only picture taking ability I have is with my phone. I know nothing about cameras but I need to buy one. What would be a decent camera for a true novice? It can't be one of those fancy...

25hp Mariner problem

Pappy & weldor. Thank you very much for sending me down the correct path. Called my son for some much needed help. Together we flushed the fuel system and replaced old gas with new (old gas went in my truck, about 3 gal.). My son pulled the carb and gave it a good cleaning. While he was doing that I...

25hp Mariner problem

Thanks for the reply Weldor. Replacing the plugs and a compression test is something I should have tried right away, but I haven't worked on any kind of motor in years and I'm getting old and the memory just doesn't work like it used to. On my way to get some spark plugs. I'll let you know what I fi...

25hp Mariner problem

I have never had a problem until now. Went to my fishing spot at WOT, backed off the throttle to hit my spot on the GPS. Just before idle it began to run rough. Now it only fires on one cylinder and is very weak. I have trolled with this motor for extended periods of time and when it was time to hea...

Christmas present

Told my Grandson (16) I was getting him a "plinker" for Christmas. Little does he know that plinker is a Tikka 30-06, stainless / composite stock with a Leopold scope. Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas.

B-B Gun fights, hacking a branch out of the neighbors ash tree to make a sling shot with bicycle inner tubes for the rubber bands, taking guns to school for "show and tell" then taking that gun to the woods after school to do some hunting, playing cards in the spokes of your bicycle, going to a frie...

Anybody have any info on this

I picked up a bit of a treasure as far as I can tell. I haven't had much time to research this gun but from the little I have learned it looks like a keeper. I went to an auction and got this gun for a bid of $300.00. The only reason I bought it is because I never heard of this gun/caliber before. I...

Water pump (impeller)

The old impeller had two of the 6 vains pointing in the opposit direction of the others, but there were'nt any pieces missing. Could it be that when I reassembled the lower unit that the pipe that carries water from the pump (impeller) to the power head is miss alligned?

Water pump (impeller)

Water pick-up is clear and the hose from the thermostat is clear. When I put it on the muffs for winterizing last fall everything worked as it should. Today I put it on the muffs again to check for any problems befor heading to the launch and realized I had a problem. Replaced the impeller (it was b...
