Moving battery to the bow

With no great thought given on my part, the first thing that comes to mind is a length of old garden hose. Certainly durable, and can be easily suspended above or below the seats.

Best wishes.

Goodbye Evinrude!

I'm not a big fan of change, these days. Especially when corporate entities start eliminating valued products and companies. [-X

Well, almost what you were asking about:

Alumacraft 12 ft RB project brought back, and...Pappy has a beautifully converted R that he made into an RB.

Best wishes.

1977 Evinrude 15 - Price?

To answer your question, I'd pay $600-650, if it was as described.

Best wishes

First tin project!

I was much younger and more agile when I had my 10ft jon. BE worried about stability, please. Be weight conscious, please; those gunnels want to dip under the surface when a little 3 hp johnnyrude, a refill can of fuel, and my (at the time) trim little bottom perched on the rear bench. If you haven'...

14ft Sears (Starcraft) Aluminum V-hull Project

From those of us who do not have "skills," I would like to express my appreciation of the workmanship and artisan patience reflected in your project. My ex-wife would like to marry you. Be well in this pandemic, survive the politics that are coming out of it, and find joy each day of your life. =D> ...

What is my boat?

Well, I'd eliminate Alumacraft, but that's not much help.

I love the canopy. Did you buy that or did it come with the hull? I've too often wished I had one.

Best wishes, be safe.

Boat converted to snow machine WITH outboard propulsion !

OK, lessee now, probably a 10-12 ft jon, gotta have a air-cooled motor, but don't know for sure if they were made up and beyond 10hp (maybe a lawn mower engine, a rack for skis, and not sure about where to get some long ice-blades, the rigging of power to the drive wheel (s) would probably involve s...

Boat converted to snow machine WITH outboard propulsion !

I was noodling about using an outboard on a jon boat to travel over snow. Did a Google search and sure enough, some one has already done it, for ice. I love it! (Dunno about snow...but a ski set-up might be cobbled.) Enjoy. There's almost no limit to the trouble some men will go to in order to make ...

Long time been away

Best wishes.

Seems like, no matter who we are or what our circumstances may be, life just demands to be lived one day at a time.

I hope you have many one days.

Remember to laugh.

New addition to the family

Bella needed a friend so we ended up getting a DDR German Shepherd. His name is Bear and he is going to be a big boy!
