Like the last guy said use 3m 5200 for you bolts and around the wood. This stuff is tuff and wont leak. You better have a rag handy because 5200 doesn't like to come off your fingers when it is dry. Good luck!

Do they sell the brakets in aluminum being in the salt water I dont want to use steel. I should screw them instead of rivits? The supports going accross you say use 2x4's what about the ones going up to the cross supports can those be 2x2's or should I use 2x4 there to?

I use marine 5200 sealant this stuff is tuff. It will set up and will take a grinder to remove. I get it at lowes but I live on the coast so you might have to find it on the web but it is worth it !!
