    Any Honda experts?

According to the seller, they'll interchange as that was his plan until he got a whole 'other boat. The price is right enough (I think) that even if I need to get some parts, I'll still be doing alright. I'm going to check them out Monday. Fingers crossed ;) Thanks for the help, Cory

    Any Honda experts?

Hey folks, I've been looking for a new-to-me tiller motor for my 16' Lund and came across these Hondas with this description "I have 2 40 HP Honda Outboard motors, mid 90s one is counsel and ran two years ago when put to storage and the tiller has no bottom end... Come take a look if you...

    12' Boat ID help

Hi, Thanks. I've seen one other boat on here that was a Sears that matched mine and another the same that was titled as a Northwoods (which mine was as well). Interesting to find out that Elgin made them, thanks :) Cory

New to me Evinrude Lightwin - Speed Question

Just snapped a couple pictures. Does the motor look like it's sitting right on the boat? Or does it need to be sitting down more? Also, due to me not knowing that they made a single motor mount I have the bolt running right where the mount needs to go. I don't think it's far enough...

New to me Evinrude Lightwin - Speed Question

I haven't yet, I don't have the tool to. It seems like a nice little motor :) Seemed to run nice, just not as fast as I was hoping, but then again, I might have had to high of hopes for the speed? Any chance it could just be as simple as a weight distribution problem? Cory

New to me Evinrude Lightwin - Speed Question

Hey folks, I saw this ad and being a lifelong duck hunter, set out to find one Once I found out that a Lightwin was the same thing (except with a decal set and paint job) I bought what I believe is a 1965 Evinrude Lightwin from a friend who just rebuilt it (Replaced the coils, new plugs...

    12' Boat ID help

Hey folks, Just bought a little 12' boat and was wondering if anyone could ID what it was? No titles on boats this size in Ontario and the previous owner thought it was a Northwoods? Unfortunately, the capacity plate got rubbed/sanded so I can't read it. Here's a full shot of it Stern area...

    Any suggestions for more bracing?

I bought this boat (Starcraft of some kind...Sea Scamp maybe?) last summer and used it as a duck boat in the fall and it's had pretty heavy use as a fishing boat this spring. It's a good boat, no leaks and lots of room for what I use it for. The only thing I was wondering is should I had more...

    Full to split bench seat

Hey everyone, First post here, hope it's in the right spot. I recently bought a 14' Starcraft and am in the process of putting the seats back in it. (The previous owner had pulled out the front and rear, put in a deck and installed pedestal seats). The front is straight forward, but I was...
