DI is much more useful overlapped or side by side with traditional sonar in my opinion. It helps break marks up so when you see a 2D mark you can see what it actually is on HDI, and also can separate targets to see fish suspending just off the bottom or in brush piles. GPS even on little lakes...

Not sure on the impeller, would the fuel pump work on and off? Sometimes we go out and have no issues, and others it has issues on and off. It doesn't always need the bulb pumped, its on and off.

I have downloaded and uploaded from insight genesis a lot. I want my maps to look like how they do when i view them on the social map feature.

When I look at maps on the insight gen. the contours have all different colors on the maps. The deeper parts are darker blue and the shallower lighter blue. When I pull those maps up on my HDI 7 they are all the same color blue. Is there a way to change this so the depths appear in different...

8 foot by 16 foot isn't going to fold up into the shape of a boat hull. Wouldn't you just need a sheet that is 4 feet wide to make the floor and then separate side pieces welded to the floor. Have you measured out a 1648 at a dealer by welded piece? I would think you could measure each welded...
