tip: for crankbaits, jerkbaits, swimbaits and other hardbaits, use a gelbased scent, as it will hold to the bait longer than a spray formulation. it doesnt affect the action, and makes the fish hold on to th bait for that extra second that might be needed to hook up. get a fingerful, rub it...

not to burst your bubble, and i may be totally wrong, but ive never seen a muskie with horizontal stripes, only vertical, and those are tigers muskies. not sure what you got though, but its nice.

yes, i did. i foulhooked a 6lb channel cat in the tail when rippping lipless cranks through the weedbeds that gave me a great fight. if only it would have been a bass....
