Has the boat ever been registered? I found an old vhull that had no markings or numbers anywhere. I was told the only way I can get it registered is as a Built from materials. I live in Florida and that's exactly what I did. Went to the tax/tag office with the description. 14ft semi v hull made...
Did you add any foam after you removed the seats? That's one thing I plan on doing as I will be fishing the intercostal here in Florida. Hate to loose it incase I swamp it.
Ok got her home today. I can't wait on this build. It is 13'8" and at the widest point 52" I have with it a 72 Johnson 9.9hp and 73 Evinrude 15hp.

Thanks... I'm all about Google out. I think I found it but until I have the boat in front of me and I can get a clear look at the serial number I can only assume it's a pre 1972 Sears 14ft x 44" Semi V-hull.
So I'm picking up a Boat, trailer and engine combo. The only info that is found is it may be a Sears. Not sure of what year and there is no HIN but maybe a serial number. It is 14ft long and 44" at the widest point, it's also a V-Hull.
Picked up this boat off a local swip swap page on Facebook for less than its worth in scrap. Time to make some repairs and get her back on the water. This will be a project over time. I'm trying to keep it a low budget build. Glad I found this site and like minded folk. So really great builds...
