I agree with above statement, sounds right for the weight

Looking for some reasons as to why my starter gear is raising up around 75% throttle and hitting the flywheel. The starter is brand new. The motor is a 77' evinrude 25 hp. It has the spring on top of the gear and its not broken and seems to have good tension. Any idea's??
