Does anyone else own one of these?

Thanks, Brine. I think they will be a lot of fun, too. I have a feeling that once I get used to that i-Pilot I will wonder how I ever got along without one. In the past almost all of my fishing was for bass in shallow water, but I am now fishing for panfish and walleye almost exclusively, so...

Does anyone else own one of these?

When I had the trolling motor mounted at the factory location my father had a great deal of difficulty deploying it, so I moved it to where you see it now. I never actually had the boat in the water with it mounted on the factory mount. When I saw my father struggling with it in the driveway...

Very sorry for the slow reply, JamesM56alum. My internet connection went down for good shortly after I told you I would get those measurements, and it was only yesterday that I fixed the problem (dead cable modem). The boat is 16' with a 69" beam. The transom is 20" high, and at the midpoint...

I don't offhand, but I will try to get them for you tomorrow.

Does anyone else own one of these?

Thanks, JMichael. Whenever I am running wires I see foam in all different places on the boat. The only wood I've ever come across has been the wood that's in the transom (still nice and dry, no signs of any rotting =D> ). I went and purchased a down imaging Lowrance (Elite-5x DSI) so no more...

I know what you mean, UtahBassKicker. It seems like whenever I am looking for something locally either nobody has one for sale, or they are asking more than a brand new one costs. lol

Sorry for the slow reply, UtahBassKicker (I've been having trouble with my internet connection the last few days). I think I'm going to ask $250 for the Minn Kota, but I will probably have to sell it locally to avoid the crazy shipping costs (I'm in upstate NY, and I see that you are in Utah).

I decided against the shallow water anchor and went with a new Minn Kota i-Pilot instead (ordered it yesterday). Hopefully I can get a few bucks for my old Minn Kota that's on there now (it's only been used a handful of times and is still like new) and that will help offset the high cost of the...

    Seat Reviews

Yeah, the only real negative with the Tempress is the price. $200+ dollars for 2 seats is hard for a lot of people to swallow. Hopefully you can find a nice deal on them (if you choose to buy them).

One more thing that I would add is that any seat with exposed plastic and/or metal makes me worry about pressure points. One of the nice things about the Tempress design is that there is no plastic coming into contact with your body. Just cushion. =D> I haven't tried all of the seats out...

    Seat Reviews

My only concern with those seats would be the amount of padding. From the pictures, it looks like they might not have a lot of it, which could prove to be uncomfortable after sitting on them all day (especially if you are a heavier person). I've never sat on one though, so that is just based...

I've owned the Tempress high-back Navistyle seats for a few years now and I have nothing but good things to say about them. Well worth the money, even at full price. I got mine off ebay for $70 each a few years ago, though, so that just makes me love them even more. \:D/

Thanks for all of the kind words, guys. I know it isn't the latest and greatest, but I still love it as if it was. My plans for the future are to move the Seachamp 2000c to the bow and put one of the new down imaging units in it's place. I would also love to have a shallow water anchor, but...

lol, believe it or not right after I posted that picture I said "The next time I'm working on the boat I've got to straighten that fire extinguisher out". :D I even vacuum the carpet during the winter months when the local lakes are all frozen over and the boat is just sitting in the garage...

Yeah, the picture kinda looks like the Predator when he would cloak in the old Predator movies, also. I installed both the River Runner and the comp prop at the same time, so I do not know which one is responsible for most of the 2 mph drop. Also, because I only ran the boat with the aluminum...

Does anyone else own one of these?

Thank you, flatboat. On my very first trip after buying the boat I took a small piece out of my aluminum prop when I ran into some shallow water (in the middle of the river #-o ) so when I got home I went straight to Cabela's website and ordered the River Runner and composite prop. I lost 2...

Have no fear, that is just my horrible photo editing skills on full display. :D That is a member of my family that I (poorly) edited out of the photograph. I don't put pictures of my family on the internet, so that is why it looks like that.

Does anyone else own one of these?

Thank you. Yes, it is extremely stable. It also only sits a few inches into the water. I have taken the boat into very shallow water while bass fishing. It is perfect for that.

Hello guys. I'm wondering if anyone else has the same boat that I have. It's a 1989 Fisher Netter DLX. It is 16' with a 69" beam. I've had the boat for around 6 years now and it has been a joy to own and use. It's listed at 346 pounds, and towing and launching it is very easy. It will get up...
