Do yall really eat mullet over there in Florida? I had always heard they did. I was fishing just last week and a mullet just hopped into the boat with me.
BF3 on Xbox 360 here. It took some time to get used to BF3 compared to MW. MW is much more user friendly but now that I have gotten the hang of BF3 I find it surpasses MW in many areas. Love both games though!!
I wouldn't use high quality fresh water reels unless you plan to clean very good afterwards. You can expect possibly catch Red fish, Black drum, hard head catfish, croakers, sharks and maybe some flounder from the docks.
How do yall clean these the best way? I feel like i'm in a surgical procedure when I do them lol, inch by inch along the belly then peel the outside away from the meat until i'm done.
Oh okay I was working it too fast. Yeah the corky's are real big in Texas right? they have just been catching on in Louisiana the past few years. What are your favorite colors.
I have seen people doing it here in Louisiana but I would not do it personlally lol. I would be scared pulling it off the ramp lol. Especially when it gets wet and the ramp is steep.
Does anybody use these? and do you like them very much. I was trying one out and didn't really like the movement of it. I was working it the same way you would work a she-dog.
Everyone here just does gar balls dip in milk and egg solution batter in corn meal or flour with seasoning and fry. The meat is like calamari when done this way.
I have Tried both of those reels they are good . But I feel the shimano citca or the Abu Garcia Orra would be better choices . When you cast these two you never have to worry about backlashes. Orra is smoother than citca but it should only be for fresh water while citca will be better for saltwater.
Well it's only five dollars for salt now so not so bad . I don't ever see a bunch of shrimp there but we do some flounder giging right by the island under bridge at night. You ever fish around here still?
Got a few pics but can't figure out how to upload the photos to this site. In prien been fishing the channel where it drops off north oh 210 bridge. Also around the docks on south end of prien
The spec's here in Louisiana are all the way up to Prien Lake in Lake Charles tearing up the bait. Follow the birds working and will easily catch your 25 specs limit. Reds are also still active just have to work the bait much slower than in the summer. Still limiting out on 5 reds per person...
