    Jet Pee question

I have that motor a1995 model and it does the same thing. It sometimes helps to run a piece of trimmer string or anything that fits into the pee tube to clean it out. I have been slacking on replacing the impeller but I have not had any issues with overheating. I also don't idle very long...

Running some skinny water in the new boat

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6IIx...e_gdata_player The new boat is a tracker grizzly1448mv with a mercury 40/30. I had someone put a tunnel in as well. I am quite pleased with the results. Switching from a 1440 flatbottom this boat runs much shallower.

    Mercury 60/40 4 stroke

I agree, tighten up the nut and that should fix it. I had the same thing happen with my jet (different motor than yours).

    trolling motor mod question

I have an evinrude 24 volt trolling motor on my jet boat and the shaft is too long even with the adjustable section raised all the way up. Is it possible to modify the shaft length at the end so it will run shallower? Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks for your help!
