Hey Dave I have a stupid question, I just got my pods in yesterday, and my wife told me there was two holes in them. After seeing your pics, I see what holes she is talking about. Why is there drain hole on the pods. I'm still offshore so I haven't got to see them yet.

I am hopeing they work out fine. I fish alot in the marshes and it gets really shallow. So when I try to get on plane I always kick up mud.

Im running a 70 hp Johnson. I added a jackplate also. It sits pretty low, when I come to a stop the water comes over the splash well. Also I'm trying to gain a little stability with the pods.

Man I have read this tread over and over agin. I'm about to start mine this days off. I have a 1648 semi-v commercial hull that i want to make into a center console.

Man I can't wait to start my lighting project. I have a 1648 semi-v that I am tricking out to be a cool little redfish chaser. I'm thinking about getting some leds that are sumergable to mount under the water line and under the hull in a few places, but the ones that I find are very expensive.

Man I'm haveing the same concerns about foam as you. I'm about to redo mine, and it has hardley any foam at all in it. I'm suprised the thing even floats.

I'm not really sure what it is rated for. I had a 40 on it and traded for this 70. If I get someone in the front and trim it up a little bit, it hopps out the water and flys, but then starts to porpose really bad.
