Looking at SeaArk 1660 Tunnel with 40/50HP O for fishing areas of lots of limestone and oyster in Florida. Options for flotation pods and Bobs Action Series Jack Plate with 6" setback. Would having both flotation pods and JP installed be a big advantage in skinny water compared to either a having install of JP or Flotation Pods. Do I need both?
Dealer where I was pricing SeaArk, commented having both pods and JP on this tunnel hull might be overkill and suggested I go with pods first and see if I would need a JP, which I could purchase later.
