Well i finally had the free time to make my first pizza on my smoker today... i never had made a pizza before but always wanted to try so last night me and the fiance went to wally world to pick up a few things and i had it all done by lunch today. I used a dough recipe that didn't require it to sit for a long time and the sauce is really easy too! Basic pepperoni for the first one... i'll get crazier with them as time goes on. Although it wasn't built for it, i was able to get my smoker up over 550 degrees with the aid of a hair dryer! It actually got higher than that but my temp probe (maverick et-732) pegged out and went nuts so i had to choke everything back for a second... ON TO THE PICS!

I slightly overcooked (and i mean slightly) it only because i made the crust a little too thick and i wanted to make sure i cooked it thru... next time i will make a thinner thick crust and use more mozzarella in my cheese blend. Overall it was still DELICIOUS and the smoker really outdid itself! Here's the simple dough and sauce recipe i used... on the sauce i modified it like the reviews say to do.

I like to do something a lil similar, I'll grill and/or smoke all the toppings seperate and the stick them on the pie for a few minutes in the oven, over all, it's a great and distinctive flavor that puts others to shame!
