Six years in the Marine Corps and twelve years in the Navy along with two years on active duty with the Oklahoma National guard I hold the Fourth Of July in high regards. Everyone of those that signed that piece of paper years ago hung their live on the line. It really took a set to stand up to Britain at the time. If we had failed then all those that had signed the DECLARATION would have been shot or hung. They knew that but went forward anyhow. The Fourth is not about those who served it is about a handful of very brave leaders who had a vision. Enough said.
