HOW TO IDENTIFY MY 12 FT ALUMACRAFT MODEL AND YR MADE

Well tonight i went to buy a 12 ft v-bottom alumacraft. the owner says it a 1984 yr model but I believe its older than that. its got the stamped round corners 1 piece rear transom. not like the newer square back models. is there a specific place where alumacraft stamps I.D. info on these boats ?

It should be on the title papers.

Older boats had paper stickers. You could look along the keel. Mine is a plate on the outside of the transom.

I've got an older alumacraft, somewhere around that vintage and all my info is on metal plate attached to the hull, as well as a serial number plate that is riveted to the outside of the transom (back right hand side, just below the top) I can post pictures later today if you want.
