So I purchased some Springfield Kingpin pedestal bases yesterday from their scratch and dent site. Some nice stuff for really good prices. Shipping can be a little steep, but you can play around with what you add to your cart to see if it's worthwhile. I ended up also getting an adjustable pedestal with locking swivel seat mount for my captains seat, so for me, the cost savings more than made up for the shipping costs.

Anyway, I'm now needing to get some pedestals and seat mounts for my Kingpin bases. Question is, I can get seat mounts and pedestals cheaper than from Springfield. But they would be a different brand. Something like swivl-eze, shoreline marine or whatever WalMart sells. Will different brands work together? I'm thinking as long as the pedestal pin and seat base pin is 3/4" they will work. What say you guys??
