Update:

Took the family out this past weekend and the gps read 26mph with three adults and one baby. I was very pleased and surprised about the speed, Still need to make a few tweaks with the motor tilt/trim, I think I can hit the 30mph mark with just me onboard.

I'm new to boating, how does it handle the Caloosahatchee? I was wondering about a bimini also, but don't know how much wind it could take.
