Yesterday we had our team at a sports event (field meet) at the local county high school. All the teams (10) were jrotc units. Most events were comprised of 4 boys/2 girls, some had 2 memebers, but always had to have a girl on each event. Long day but our team brought home 4 trophies :) : (1 more than last year) 1st Place: Basketball Freethrow 2nd Place: 50 meter dash 3rd Place: Volleyball (play to 15 points, double elimination) 3rd Place: 1.5 mile realy. We were tied with another team and had to have a run-off, and we beat them by 1 second! 8) A great day and the kids worked their tails off at all of the events. Next event: 9/13/08. Orienteering at Bernheim Forest, Louisville, KY 8)
