First Spinnerbait Catch

Last year I asked a question on tinboats about using spinnerbaits and you guys helped my knowledge of them a lot. I had a few bites but no hookups. This winter I taped every KVD show I could find and would watch him fish (some in slow motion!) to learn how he used them. It's been a long time coming but today I initated a spinnerbait that Jim sent. While it isn't a bass for the tourney, it is a big fish and I couldn't be happier!



And the special bait!!! I never knew these were so weedless! I pulled him out of some heavy (almost matted) cover.

Way to go Will! Up until a couple years ago I was not a fan of spinnerbaits, but now they, soft plastics and jigs are pretty much all I fish with. My PB came on a spinnerbait.
