I recently joined the Exchange Club in Greenville Sc.One of the things we do is try to help abused kids.So what
I am trying to do is have some sort if fishing day at a local pond to try and show these kids a good time,so maybe they can
forget about whatever troubled past they may have had for a little while.Ive never done anything like this,so any input you
guys can give me will be great. Thanks

You should go around your local area businesses and tell them what your doing. A church group in our area did something similar a while back and two of the local sport shops, walmart's, a few gas stations, and a some others sponsered the event. Turns out by the end of it, all the bait was supplied, row boats were donated, including life vests (for the day only)and every kid in attendance went home with their new zebco kit including poles and tackle box's full of bobbers and hooks...

What your doing will and should spark the interest of the locals there as well...... Good luck and hats off to ya.

Thats what i was thinking.A friend of mine has a 6 acre farm pond he'll let us use,it has some nice blue gill.Alot of these kids
are from orphanages and in foster care,so its alot to get organized. Thanks for your help
