Is anyone familiar with e5/e7 curados? I am trying to choose between two 1000 series scorpions.. or two e5's for the same price. I need two good reels for soft plastics. Let me know what you guys think I need some advice.
 
I have 3x 201e7's. They are all great reels.....really a well rounded reel. I really like the faster retrieve for just about anything except spinnerbaits, crankbaits, and cold water jigging.
 
They are regular 1000s but in great condition hardly any scratches on them just cleaned. The e5s are like new too. I dunno if i should go with the older proven ones or try some newer curados.. Jim which do you like more for plastics?
 
It used to be my Scorpion 1000 for worms. I scored a metanium MG which I use now for plastics. The scorpion I use for my frog rod with 30# braid. You can not go wrong with either......
