ABA 2008 regional dates and locations announced

Well I finally found out the location of the north east regional championship
We are heading down to visit Kerr Lake. the last week of Sept. I have never fished the lake and can't wait to get there

Ive always wanted to fish kerr/buggs island, but haven't made it down there yet. I know there are some hogs in there tho man, good luck catchin em.

yeah the Midwest guys should have a lot of fun fishing on Barkley the bass should be busting the shad in the coves all morning the Ghost lemon pearl Sammy will be the ticket..

Mr. redbug, does Penna. and Jersey belong to the same ABA chapter?

yes and no..
I fish with the American bass anglers we have 2 divisions in new jersey
monks ville and hopatcong all 3 are the same organization we are a draw trail and were the old military bass anglers
There is also a Amateur bass anglers of pa/NJ they are a team trail
The ABA that I am with also runs the BASS weekend series
It is a great trail that is open to both boaters and non boaters and gives away 6 boats every year. we had 8 guys from our area go to the regional in new york. we had a great time and one of the guys was 1 card away from a new boat.
