I can't seem to get an avatar picture resized down to the file size required. The smallest I can get it is 31kb. I got the pixel dimension right but the file size is still too big. What's the trick?

She's a great dog! She loves going out in the canoe, and I'm sure she's gonna love the new boat as well. Plus, she has her own life jacket! Does anyone else take their dog out on the water? I'd love to see some pics!
