Well go fishin Man!!!!! What you waitin on?????

Still a bit too cold around these parts.

Is the water still in solid form? I was punching through the ice last weekend.

No the ice is gone off all the lakes around here. Might still be some a little further north though.

I'm going fishing Friday night 5:30 PM on the dot. Rain or shine or snow.

Yeah, I'm thinking about an early exit from the office on Thursday afternoon. Supposed to be sunny and 13C (that's about 55 degrees for you Americans).

Last Saturday on the water, we hit 92 degrees. (That's about 33 for you Canadians) :LOL2:

And....this in the great Midwest state of Missouri. I like heat, but I also like spring. Water temps already 58-62 degrees. I'd like it to stay this way for a while.

ive been fishing probably 15 times since christmas...

bad weather, poor conditions, wind etc,

but you know how it is...just gotta fish

ive been fishing with a buddy of mine....

we use a cast net to catch baitfish (herring)

then we fish herring heads off of the beach for striped bass....

i never fished like that until this year....

its AWESOME...

striped bass are coming in from the Atlantic to spawn

weve caught (3) that were 50 pounds plus in the last 3 weeks...

here are some pics...

maybe they'll inspire you to get out there and catch some big boys...

until this year, i had never even SEEN a striper that big...

I got the bug, wish i could quit my job and fish for a living...
