I saw a thread about someone who built a home made version of a power pole. They had a video. I can not find the thread. DSoes anyone know what the title was or what forum it was in? I have searched, but I am sure I am just missing it.

Yes I am thinking about making one. But I do not think I will be able to do the remote, but I have another idea. I would like to figure out what kind of actuator he is using. From there I think I have a pretty good idea on what I want to do.
 
If you figure out what to do, you HAVE to make one, then either post a parts list or sell kits for them to us. AND since I was the one that found the video originally, I expect your contraption to be called "Mike D's (something)" AND I also expect one at no more than half the price the rest of the guys get. Just consider it compensation for using my likeness... :LOL2:
