I've had the same email address since I was 16. [email protected]. Hence the screen name. I made this address because of a sweet old mustang I used to have (1986 SVO). Anyways, I've been getting emails from people saying I'm spamming them emails about "increasing your size" and "viagra", stuff like that. Apparently I've been hacked. So, I am the proud new owner of a Gmail account, with the old-guy "first name.last name" email address. I feel much more professional now. I want to go buy a suit, read wall street journal, play golf, and generally just bask in the glory of this fine day. I'm bored and going crazy in Afghanistan. Can you tell?

I'm so sick of those emails....and I have some serious filters set up too.

If I took advantage of even 1/4 of those offers, I'd have to buy bigger tube socks to hold it all together. :LOL2:

 Good stuff Man. Joining the club is nice, had my first V8 juice today, got some prune juice for tomorrow. I don't know how you guys wear those little garter belt things to hold up your socks though.

Those older SVO Mustangs are awesome!! I was very close to buying one out of a local auto museum when I was younger but for some reason the bank did not see it fit to give a 17 year old a loan for a near mint collectors car. I think they wanted $9,000 for it and it was close to mint and had 46,000 miles on it. I wanted that car so freakin bad. My dream car is still a mint 1993 Mustang Cobra. Keep it looking stock but mod the heck out of the motor. Some day.

The weather here today is going to be simliar to Afghanistan. 101 and a heat index of 120 ish. You guys get humidity over there? That's what kills us here.

Yeah Man, my SVO was awesome. I loved it. The only reason I got rid of it was I was having to drive to Charlestown, SC on a bi-weekly basis, and couldn't justify putting that kind of mileage on it. Besides, I had a ton of work done to it, so driving down I95 at the flow of traffic (90mph/4k rpm) for 6 hours, was not good on the ears. The only upside to it, was even though it would run mid 12's in the 1/4, it would still get 30mpg. Gotta love turbo cars.

As far as weather, there is practically no humidity here, 6-8%. So 100 is 100. Humidity is bad in VA too, my wife says they're getting near 100 days, but with 80% humidity. I definitely don't miss the muggy weather, but I can't wait to be home...

I finally switched over to the grown up email last year. I have used my other one since 99. I still use it, but not for important stuff. As far as the weather...I feel your pain Bulldog. Im in southern illinois. Supposed to be 102 with a heat index of 119. Im glad most of my day is spent inside!

Heck you aren't a geezer....I had a 1969 Mach 1 when it was only 5 years old. I should have kept that car...by now I could have sold it and bought a REALLY nice bass boat!

Thanks to you guys over there and the job you are doing.

AGH! The spot we are in now sucks! The nickname is "Rocket City" and there's HUMIDITY. I forgot what muggy feels like. It's 105* with an index of 120*. Now I know how America feels...

Ummm... Good question. Its not set in stone but I just got the word today that I may be extended to December :?

I tell my buddies enlisted, Keep your chin up and your head down. I can't thank you enough for doing what you do. Being a small business owner, I would have nothing without what my troops have done for me and my freedoms. Our prayers are with you.

Now back to the Mustang, :D What all did you have done to it? Any pictures?

I don't think I have any pics on this computer, I'll try and find one or 2. As far as mods, 2.5l stroker crank,8.6:1 compression (stock is 8:1), big valve head, custom built header, gutted and rotated upper/lower intake manifold, T4 turbo, 28lbs boost on the street, 4" exhaust from turbo back, no cat, Dynomax muffler. Intercooler was from a 99 powerstroke diesel (had to cut the front unibody to get it to fit), fuel injectors from a Dodge Omni GLH, methanol injection, mini tubs in the rear, 275/40/17 tires in back, 225/50/16 in front. Other odds and ends, but that the major stuff...

How cool is that. I love the hood. That scoop is awesome. Motor looks clean as well. Someone parked a brand new Cobra in my parking lot at work today and I've been drooling all over it all morning.

Yeah Man, the hood is what sells the car. No other car pulls off the non-centered hood scoop... My wife hated it, or I'd seriously consider buying another one. OR, I may just buy a 91 Ranger and build another 2.3T to put in it. Now THAT would be awesome...
