Interesting indeed. Couldn't get the "Products" page to load though, wanting to see what the costs are just for the heck of it.

I still haven't found any pricing either (even though I'm not buying..just curious). Some pages load one and not the next time. They must be having issues with their website or something.

Maybe they put all of their $$ into their motors and can't afford a decent web host :) . They're made in Germany, so I'm guessing the quality and the technology is pretty good. Kinda like the Merces Benz of electric motors maybe. :)

Dang.....I'd rather have a row boat than pay those prices. $600 for a replacement battery! No chance! [-X

That would be a nice set up with a small generator for longer trips, and to save weight on batteries.

Concur on that! Wow, even a replacement prop is $80  . I don't think we'll see any Torqueedo's around this area, lol.

There are not many companies that make motors like these so the prices are still high. Look at how much flat screen tv's have come down in price over the last 7-8 years. The first VHS was a few hundred dollars. It would be amazing for electirc only lakes (they make a 9.9hp motor) but its over 4 grand.
check this one out with twin torquedo --> 4.0 motors https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tiOlswcjV5g&feature=mfu_in_order&list=UL

Google Aquawatt.
They have one out thats compatable with a 30hp...so they say.
Price around $10000...I think.
