So looking on Google Earth, the place seems kind of dry.

I see small ponds but unsure if they are fishable.

Also noticed a Bass Pro Shops.

Any rivers? Not a fly fisherman by any means...just looking to throw some lures with the kids.

Thanks.

ANYWHERE! There are so many fishing opportunities there,it would make your head spin. You don't have to be a fly-fisher to take advantage either. An ultra-light set-up will work just fine for the streams. There are some lakes north of Denver that are great also.

Was looking at HorseTooth Resevoir the other day, Its located in Fort Collins not far from Denver looked good. Also I used to live up at Breckinridge you should see the trout on Lake Dillon in Dillon Co. There are lakes and streams all around with good fishing.

Good luck on the move. Hope it works out in your favor.

Thanks.

I recently planned on moving to Niles, MI, but I doubt the Mrs or I will find any work.
Denver seems to be doing well (economy wise) and has 300+ sunny days a year for fishing.

I need to get my family out of this communist state. #-o
